cru cellars|FRANKFORT, MI

Cru Cellar's northern location sits on the main street of a the charming beach town along Lake Michigan in Frankfort.  The design for this lakeside restaurant and wine bar  holds true to Cru's industrial brand image yet also pays homage to the nautical roots of the town where it resides.   A 30 foot long custom photo mural runs the length of the bar, real area and lounge. It showcases a photo taken by Jennifer Bingham, one of Cru's owners while visiting wineries in France.  A U-shaped bar provides an excellent social spot for enjoying one of the unique wines that Cru carries.  Nautical references such as caged brass lights over the bar and custom designed wall partitions made of reclaimed sails provide privacy for the lounge and the restaurant.  Custom steel wall lights in the lounge are on pivots to allow flexibility to convert the lounge to a private party area.
